Imran Khan demanded an open trial of Faiz Hameed




Rawalpindi: Founder Chairman PTI Imran Khan has demanded an open trial of former DGISI Lt Gen Retired Faiz Hameed.


 In an informal conversation with journalists in Adiala Jail, Imran Khan said, "I demand an open trial of General Faiz Hameed, media should be given access to coverage in the open trial."


 Imran Khan said that the open trial of Faiz Hameed will benefit the country and Pakistan will develop.


 It should be remembered that a few days ago, in a statement released by ISPR, it was stated that the former DGISI General Faiz Hameed has been taken into custody and court martial proceedings have been started against him for violating the rules of the army.  .

In this regard, Imran Khan had said in his statement that I am not afraid of the arrest of Faiz Hameed, it is an internal matter of the army.


 The founding chairman of PTI said in another statement in this regard that Faiz Hameed's drama is being staged to bring me in, efforts are being made to take Faiz Hameed's statement and take me to the military court.  .
